Oli Briggs

My name is Oli Briggs and I am a Nottingham based artists who focuses on the use of digital media.

For my postcards for the people project I have decided to look into Nottingham's broad history. It was from this that I had inspiration to look into the war and how it effected Nottingham... and how we rebuilt it after the nottingham blitz in 1941. I have found images from the Nottingham history archives that I have blended together to make a mixed reality of notting rebuilding from the war such as the buildings but as a community we once where. I have retaken these images and worked into them using digital media to get the results I have below.
