Inspire me Parr :D
Martin's work has inspired me through all of my projects and has done me proud again the juxtaposition between holiday makers and the scene shows how peculiar English culture is. I want to work like this but with text and imagery.
So I've been playing around with text and the image posted the other day, still alot of sampling to do but here's a first idea :)

For the postcards for the people I have been working with urban photography. My final pieces will be photography from nottingham's well known council estate St.Anns with inspirational text. I am trying to get across that just because we may be from council estate this does not define us and a lot of council estate kids have extremely high aspirations in life.
